32 kms above the desert, on the edge of space, Joseph Kittinger stepped out of a balloon… for the next 13 minutes & 45 seconds he fell to Earth, breaking the sound barrier, terminal velocity and nearing death… His story has inspired the creation of this original music & film piece, Man High.

Man High is a collaborative piece written with composer Stephen Deazley and visual artist Andy McGregor. The piece was commissioned by Music at the Brewhouse and developed with funding and support from Creative Scotland, the University of Edinburgh and Inspace.
